Apple Turnovers

In this recipe we use the two ingredient dough recipe and sweeten it up by wrapping it around chopped cinnamon apples. A delicious dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Prepare 2-ingredient dough using only half of the dough [see recipe].

  2. Let dough sit overnight in fridge.

  3. In a bowl, cut large apple into cubes.

  4. Add juice of one lemon, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of salted caramel syrup.

  5. Let mixture marinate overnight.

  6. Roll out the dough and cut into 9 squares.

  7. Fill each square with a spoonful of apple mixture.

  8. Fold over the dough and pinch the edges.

  9. Repeat for each one.

  10. Put apple turnovers on a cookie sheet and bake them at 375F for 20 minutes.
