In this recipe we use the two ingredient dough recipe and sweeten it up by wrapping it around chopped cinnamon apples. A delicious dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth!
2 Tbsp of Sugar Free Syrup
Prepare 2-ingredient dough using only half of the dough [see recipe].
Let dough sit overnight in fridge.
In a bowl, cut large apple into cubes.
Add juice of one lemon, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of salted caramel syrup.
Let mixture marinate overnight.
Roll out the dough and cut into 9 squares.
Fill each square with a spoonful of apple mixture.
Fold over the dough and pinch the edges.
Repeat for each one.
Put apple turnovers on a cookie sheet and bake them at 375F for 20 minutes.
